Visiting the Church
VISITING ST THOMAS CHURCH, MAMHEAD
The church is open for regular church services, occasional baptisms weddings and funerals, musical events etc., as per the events diary.
Visitors are welcome. However please note that the church is situated on the private Mamhead Estate. This means that car and pedestrian access is along private roads where there is a prescriptive right of access, but not a right of way. The access gates should normally be open during daylight hours, with a keys sign displayed for the benefit of visitors. Please park considerately. We would strongly encourage anyone travelling a long way specifically to visit the church to liaise in advance with one of the Deputy Churchwardens (see Contact page) to assist you and to avoid disappointment. Also, please contact the Deputy Churchwardens if you experience any difficulties whilst visiting the church.
