Friends of St Thomas Church, Mamhead  (F.O.S.T) is a small charity whose sole purpose is to raise funds for the maintenance of the church buildings and fabric. We achieve this aim  through a) subscription membership and b) one-off donations by well-wishers.

What data do we collect about you?

Our Treasurer holds a list of members’ and donors’ contact details including name, postal address, phone number, email (where provided), and bank details where a standing order has been set up.

What do we do with your data?

We use these details  1) to manage annual subscriptions, and 2) to send occasional communications about F.O.S.T and its activities, where we have your positive consent to do so.

We will never directly solicit money from members or donors.

We will never pass on your details to anyone outside of F.O.S.T for any commercial or other purpose, except if required by law.

Our website

Our principal method of publicity is through our website.  This is purely an information-providing facility. We do not sell anything directly through the website, although we may, for example, post details of a contact person so that you can buy tickets for a church or charity-related  event.

The website uses neither cookies or analytics.  So, if you visit our website we will not collect any information about you nor about the devices you use to access our site.  We do not perform any data analysis of visits made to our website.
